The Engineering Trainee Days is a joint initiative of the Association Luxembourgeoise des Ingénieurs, Architectes, Scientifiques, Industriels (da Vinci) and Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg (JEL) with the support of the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth and take place annually in the autumn school holidays (typically first week of November).
By participating at the ETDs you have the opportunity to showcase your organisation’s engineering and/or scientific professions to students (16+ years of age) who expressed outstanding enthusiasm in STEAM subjects.
The primary goal is not to organize a traditional company visit, but to provide one or more secondary school students, over a period of two days, with an insight into the day-to-day work of a scientist and/or engineer and to, hopefully, inspire the participants to choose a career in STEAM.
Due to an exceptionally high volume of participants this year, we extended the registration period for companies to Monday, the 11th of October.
